Preparing for the winter work teams!

Well it has been an interesting last month. The camp has been wrapping up it's summer projects and stock piling material for the work teams coming this winter. We had a HUGE Blessing the last two days. Since we are building cabins out of SIPS panels they require 8 and 10 inch screws which cost around $1 a piece, to put the cabins together. The TRUFAST Corp. has donated 7500 of these screws that just happen to be from a cancelled order. It just happens to be what we needed for the cabins for next summer. HMMM! The other blessing we received on a semi yesterday was 8340 feet of the metal roofing we are using to roof the cabins and pavilion and in the right color. This was 11,000 pounds of metal roofing for 10 cents a pound for just over $1100 dollars compared to the $2000 we spent to roof the first cabin. This should roof 6 more cabins and the pavilion for less money. We also had the Cutler Hammer and AMO Electric company donate all the breaker boxes and breakers for 19 more cabins. Isn't God Good!! We are in need of work teams this winter and next spring and also some help on the expenses to get the camp ready by summer. We love to show people around so come see us.
